One of the most popular ski and snowboard resorts in the east coast is Killington, located in central Vermont. Killington has 155 trails, 21 lifts, and 1,509 acres. With the highest vertical drop at 3,050 feet, it has become known as the “Beast of the East.”

Trails range from beginner to expert with its double black diamond mogul trail Outer Limits to Juggernaut–a 6.2 mile beginner run, the longest trail on the east coast.  They haven’t overlooked the terrain parks either. With five separate parks throughout the mountain, you’ll be sure to get your money’s worth. Killington also has one of the east coast’s largest half pipes on Bear Mountain.

Killington – where skiers and snowboarders can be friends. With a mountain so big, you don’t have to worry about riding down the wrong trail and accidentally getting in the way at the terrain park. This is a mountain where everyone gets along. Ski together in the day, grab some drinks together at night. There is more than enough trails to go around. They don’t call Killington The Beast of the East for nothing!

Killington offers some of the best riding for all skill levels, but if you like the terrain park, make sure you hit up The Stash. The Stash is an all wood park with natural features through the glades. If you’re like me and thought skiing through the trees couldn’t get any more fun, think again! Now you can shred the terrain park and the glades at the same time!!! In my opinion, this is without a doubt one of the most fun parks in the nation.
