You know what time of year it is–Shark Fest! The week where you grab your adventure buddies and gather around the big screen. It’s an excuse to watch the box without kicking yourself for not adventuring out there on your own. What if you could?

All this talk about sharks combined with fascinating facts, learning that by nature they aren’t as aggressive toward humans as some think, doesn’t it make you want to dive on in and go for a swim with them? Okay, well maybe not for everyone, but that’s what adventure travel is all about–reaching outside your limits.

If you’ve been searching for a most unique adventure, grab the jumper cables and jumpstart yourself by getting in the water with the sharks. Whether free diving or in a cage, shark diving is one of the most exhilarating experiences out there.  Even though it’s not so physically intensive, when you’re in the water with the sharks, and your adrenaline is pumping like never before, it will feel like you’re in the midst of a triathlon!

  Experience is not always necessary.  I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been asked this. Isn’t all travel adventurous? For the most part, yes. But there is something different about the term “Adventure Travel.”  Adventure Travel is pushing the limits and taking vacations beyond the norm. Avid adventure travelers take their outdoor passion and seek the gnarliest places on Earth to push limits like no other. From the tops of the mountains to the depths of the oceans…the adventures are endless.

Many travelers enjoy sitting on the beach, toes in the sand, with a favorite beverage in hand. That is fine! I don’t think there is anyone who doesn’t enjoy that! But, if you are an adrenaline-junkie thrill seeker, you might need something a little more action packed. Adventure travel may just be the kind of vacation that you need to get that excitement back in your life or add more to it!

Adventure travel is not like your normal “chill by the pool” vacation, but it can include some time to do just that. There is nothing more exhilarating than pushing your personal limits and charging through days filled with adrenaline-pumping fun! At the end of the days adventure you deserve to kick back and enjoy the views. After all you earned it!
